PLANO, Texas- A funeral mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Allen Family Funeral Options in Plano, for Tracy Fasken Turner, 59, Plano, who died Thursday, Dec. 23, 2021, at UT Southwestern Clements Hospital. Burial will follow at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Lake Cemetery in Lamar, Mo.

Local arrangements are under the direction of Konantz Warden Funeral Home, Lamar, Mo.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions be made to the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation, in memory of Tracy Turner.

Survivors include her husband, Chris Turner, her college sweetheart that she married August 30, 1986; their two sons, Sam and wife Jacy, Denver, Colo. and Jake and wife Kelsey, Rogers, Ark.; a brother, Craig Fasken and wife Melissa and their daughter Piper, Dallas; her aunt, Sandra Blackford and husband Kenneth, Joplin, Mo. and extended family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by an infant sister, Amanda.

Mrs. Turner was born April 22, 1962, in Carthage, Mo., to Lawrence Ray and Patricia Ann (Hargis) Fasken. She was a graduate of Jasper (Mo.) High School, where she was active in cheerleading, 4-H, music and many other activities.

She attended Missouri Southern State College, where she was also active on campus in several organizations including College Republicans and the local Delta Gamma chapter, having served as president of both. She graduated from the University of Missouri-Columbia with a Bachelor of Accountancy. She was a Certified Public Accountant.

Her greatest love was her family. She was a great sports mom and frequent team mom, spending many happy hours at hockey rinks across America, along with cheering her sons and their teams at baseball, football and golf. Her home was always full of kids of all ages, who affectionately nicknamed her “Mom Bomb”.
