LIBERAL- Services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Hannon Freewill Baptist Church in Liberal for Trent Henry Morgan, 26, Liberal, who died Tuesday, Dec. 28, 2021, at Research Medical Center in Kansas City, Mo. Burial will follow at Oak Grove “Oakton” Cemetery in Lamar.

Visitation will be held from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday, at Daniel Funeral Home in Lamar.

Contributions are suggested and made payable to Hannon Freewill Baptist Church Youth Group, in care of the funeral home.

Survivors include his wife, Caitlin Morgan, one son, Grant Morgan, one daughter, Hazel Morgan, his parents, Henry and Michelle Morgan of Lamar; grandmothers, Linda Morgan, Lamar and Donna Immekus, Carthage and two sisters, Alexandra "Allie" (Aaron) Palma and husband Aaron, Carl Junction and Kelsie Sprouls and husband Tyler, Lamar; five nephews; one niece and many aunts, uncles, cousins and in-laws.

He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Richard Morgan and Larry Immekus and a cousin, Haidyn Immekus Lee.

Mr. Morgan was born Aug. 4, 1995, in Lamar, to Henry Dale and Michelle Lynn (Immekus) Morgan. He was a 2014 graduate of Lamar High School and a 2017 graduate of Pittsburg State University. He married his school sweetheart and love of his life, Caitlin Guadalupe Moreno in Liberal on April 23, 2016.

He worked as a process engineer for MAPP Technologies in Joplin. While in high school, he was a member of Learn-A-Do, 4H, FFA, FBLA, Student Council, class vice president and Barton County Barn Swingers. Trent also played baseball and football and was a part of the 2011 State Championship football team. He was a member of the Society of Manufacturing Engineering and was a church board member and youth leader at Hannon Freewill Baptist Church in Liberal.
