LAMAR- A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Daniel Funeral Home for Margene Delores Lamb, 76, Lamar, who died Tuesday, Jan. 4, 2022, at her home in Lamar.
Contributions are suggested and made payable to the Lamar Animal Shelter, in care of the funeral home.

Survivors include two daughters, Tina Lamb, Lamar and Amy Merck and husband Lawrence, Fayetteville, Ark.; seven grandchildren; two brothers, Gary Driskill and wife Dawn, Lebanon, Tenn. and Michael Driskell, Farmers Branch, Texas; one sister, Carol Smith and husband Tommy, Bartonville, Texas and eight nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Ann Miller.
Mrs. Lamb was born June 20, 1945, in Camden, Ark., to Vance Montgomery and Geneva (Lenderman) Driskill. She graduated from Jefferson City (Missouri) High School in the class of 1963 and Bacone College, Muskogee, Okla., in 1967.
She worked as a registered nurse. Her hobbies included crafts, woodworking, hiking, camping, photography and working puzzles. She loved animals, books and the outdoors. She was a volunteer for the Salvation Army, Lamar Animal Shelter, the Good Samaritan Shop and the local Girl Scouts when her daughters were little.
