JOE STUMP

SHELDON- Services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Daniel Funeral Home in Lamar for Joe Keith Stump, 70, Sheldon, who died Friday, Jan. 7, 2022, at his home. Burial will follow in Olive Branch Cemetery in Milo.

Visitation will be held this Wednesday from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m., at the funeral home.

Masks are optional.

Contributions are suggested and made payable to the Barton County Senior Citizens Center, in care of the funeral home.

Survivors include two brothers, Glenn Stump and wife Connie, Bellamy and Jerry Stump and wife Wanda, Springfield; four sisters, Edna Fite, Jasper, Jane Boehne, Wichita, Kan., Lois Watson, Neck City and Mary Brake and husband Steve, Billings, along with several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his sisters, Opal Harris and Elsie Ritchey and brother-in-laws, Charles Fite, Gene Harris and Anthony Watson.

Mr. Stump was born Aug. 11, 1951, to Jim and Lela (Cowan) Stump. She was a 1969 graduate of Golden City High School.

He worked as a crop and cattle farmer.
