LAMAR-Services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Daniel Funeral Home for Judith Ann Hurt, 77, Lamar, who died Saturday, Nov. 21, 2015, surrounded by her family, at Mercy Hospital in Joplin, following an extended illness. Mike Gage will officiate. Burial will be in Lake Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Ryan Hurt, Chase Hurt, Kyler Shoff, Kaden Shoff, Allen Thieman, John Webb and Gary Jennings. Honorary pallbearers will be Douglas Jack, Rocky Higgins, Kent Harris, Terry Kunstel and Charlie Watts.
Visitation will be held from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the First Christian Church Memorial Fund.

Survivors include her husband, Lyndell, of the home; three children, Cindy Jack and husband Michael, Joplin, Russ Hurt and wife Suzanne, Lamar and Beth Shoff and husband Harold, Mt. Vernon; 10 grandchildren, Chris, Jeff, Jeremiah and Douglas Jack, Ryan and Chase Hurt, Brooke Gibson, Blake Westbrooke and Kyler and Kaden Shoff; 12 great-grandchildren and many loving extended family and friends.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Wills.
Mrs. Hurt was born Aug. 30, 1938, in Springfield, to Verl and Anna Marie (Gammon) Wills. Before being confined to her wheelchair, she was an award winning cook, homemaker, wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
She was an active member of First Christian Church of Lamar, where she was involved in many areas over the years. She was also a charter member of her beloved Chat and Chew Club.
She married Lyndell Pete Hurt on Aug. 26, 1956, in Greenfield, and she was looking forward to celebrating their 60th wedding anniversary.
