LAMAR- Services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at Konantz Warden Funeral Home for John Frank White, 82, Lamar, who died Tuesday, Feb. 8, 2022.

Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Sunday.

The family suggests donations be sent to the funeral home, in lieu of flowers, to help with funeral expenses.

Survivors include his son, Mark White and wife Laura, Gladstone; daughters, Lisa Sprowels, of the home in Lamar and Tammy Mora and husband Thomas, Independence 13 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, five brothers and two sisters.

Mr. White was born March 12, 1939, in Lockwood, to Cordis and Lucille (Voorhees) White. He joined the US Army in Ft. Riley, Kan., and served his time mostly in Ft. Hood, Texas. He married Darlene Evans on July 24, 1964, in Lamar. He was a truck driver in the military and spent most of his life employed as a driver for local companies.
