GERALD LEE PETERS

LAMAR- A private family service will be held for Gerald Lee Peters, 79, Lamar, Missouri, who died Tuesday, Feb. 15, 2022, at his home.

Arrangements are under the direction of Daniel Funeral Home.

Survivors include his wife, Nancy; one son, Greg Peters, Roland, Okla.; two grandchildren, Cesily Peters, Lamar and Darla Irwin, Bartlesville, Okla.; three great-grandchildren, Kelsi Lawrence and Allyson Tiller, both of Pittsburg, Kan. and Mason Cliett, Lamar; one sister, Joanne Wolf, Lamar and one daughter-in-law, Laura Peters, Lamar.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Jane; a son, Brent Peters and three brothers, Howard Peters, Clinton Peters and Robert Peters.

Mr. Peters was born July 11, 1942, in Lamar, to James O. Peters and Hazel (Reaves) Peters. He married Nancy Elaine Dalton on March 23, 2008, in Las Vegas, Nevada.

He worked as a mail carrier for the United States Post Office. He was a member Metro Club and the Elks Lodge.
