Archers compete

Lamar Democrat/Chris Morrow Archers from elementary through high school took part in a large and very competitive tournament at Lamar Saturday. Over 700 archers shot bullseye and 352 shot at 3D targets. Thirty-four different schools were represented. Archery has become a wildly popular sport for kids and adults of all ages. Here competitors fire on bullseye targets in the middle school gymnasium.
