Students benefit from Celebrate YOU Week held at LHS

Lamar Democrat/Melody Metzger Lamar High School students had the opportunity to learn lifelong lessons, while enjoying themselves during a variety of special presentations that were presented by members of the community. Sessions from hair styling to mechanics, to self defense, to rock painting were offered, along with CPR training, Zumba, workouts, healthy snacking and dangers of social media, just to name a few. With 20 sessions offered, there was something for everyone and the students thoroughly enjoyed the day.
