THELMA LOUISE WILLIAMS

WEIR, Kan.- A private family service will be held at a later date for Thelma Louise Williams, 69, Weir, who died Wednesday, March 23, 2022, at Via Christi Hospital in Pittsburg.

Arrangements are under the direction of Daniel Funeral Home, Lamar, Mo.

Survivors include three daughters, Georgiana Williams and David Miller, Olathe, Patricia Ahrens and husband Craig, Pittsburg and Amy Pearce and husband Mike, Scammon; four brothers, Danny Stevens, California and Michael Stevens, Billy Stevens and Stacy Stevens, all of Pittsburg; three sisters, Mary Devore, Weir, a twin sister, Wilma Bevenue, Joplin, Mo. and Donna Long, Pittsburg; eight grandchildren, Kevin, Janet, Elizabeth, Mary, Molly, Cesly, Erin and Shannon; 14 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Randy and Wayne; a sister, Debra and a great-grandson, Peyton.

Mrs. Williams was born Dec. 25, 1952, in Modesto, Calif., to Damon Everett and Martha Jane (Bronson) Stevens.

She had worked as a certified nurse aid. She was a devoted mother, sister, aunt, cousin and grandma and a Christian. She loved knitting and made all of her grandchildren a baby blanket. She loved fishing, slot machines and playing cards with the girls and was well known as the "Skipbo" queen. Her mischievous grin will be forever loved and missed.
