Rotarians help beautify the town

Lamar Rotarians Melissa Little, Brian Griffith, Tom Shields and Heidi Johnson collected a total of 20 full bags of trash that were found under the overpass, along with the I49 on and off ramps that are connected to Hwy. 160. In support of the Adopt A Highway program, the club provides this service three times a year, in place of that week’s lunch meeting. The club believes it is important to beautify what everyone sees as they enter or leave Lamar.
