Lamar Democrat/Melody Metzger A good size gathering was in attendance for the National Day of Prayer held Thursday, May 5, at the First Baptist Church in Lamar. The observance had originally been planned for the Barton County Courthouse lawn, but due to excessive rainfall it had been moved inside to the church.
