Barton County Memorial Park purchases lot to the west

Joe Davis, representing the Barton County Memorial Park, presented a check to Jeff and Bonnie Steward for the purchase of the lot west of the Memorial Park. The Stewards, residents of Golden City, bought the lot in 2013 from Barton County Memorial Hospital and used it to park/store their tree trimming trucks.The lot will come in handy when hosting events where more parking is needed.
