Replica plaque of original 69 veterans featured at BCMP

Lamar Democrat/Melody Metzger Hospital staff and members of the advisory board at Cox Barton County Hospital visited the Barton County Memorial Park on Tuesday morning, May 23. Med One Clinic Manager Kyley Metcalf, RN, advisory board member Joel Dermott, Cox Barton County Hospital President Chris Wyatt and Mac Forrester, advisory board member, are pictured with a replica of the plaque that was located at the old hospital grounds until being moved out to the new hospital. The plaque recognizes the 69 Barton County fallen World War II comrades, who were honored by the various local veteran’s organizations.
