Good weather provides great turnout for Lamar Cruise Nights

Lamar Democrat/Melody Metzger Following some rather wet and dreary days prior to the event, the evening of Friday, June 3 was absolutely beautiful as several gathered around the Lamar square for the June Top 10 Cruise Night. Many enjoyed the Haile Yeah BBQ food truck out of Carthage, along with Lamar’s own Shiver Shack. Daylight Donuts on the west side of the square was open for restroom facilities and drinks. The Top 10 winners were, left to right, Danny Walker (Top Motorcycle) and automobile owners Terry Hahnfield, Dylan Hill, Larry Allen, Chuck Espeland, Dennis Cato, Richard Kentner, Ralph Underwood, Ken Sisseck and Clarence Gaston. Winning, but not pictured, was Mike Stuart.
