Truman Healthcare delights residents and area onlookers

Lamar Democrat/Melody Metzger Truman Healthcare and Rehabilitation of Lamar stuck with tradition by providing its residents and other townspeople with a spectacular fireworks show that was held at dusk on Tuesday, July 5. The facility was roped off in order to keep its residents COVID safe; however, family and friends were able to sit with them following protocol. Available at the end of the driveway was Snowflakes Shaved Ice, which considering the horrendous heat, was kept busy throughout the evening. The community appreciates the effort that Truman puts into its yearly fireworks display and many were on hand to applaud with their appreciation following the show.
