PATRICIA TALBOTT

PARKTON, N.C.-Patricia Jones Talbott passed away Sunday, Dec. 6, 2015, at the age of 76. Born in Sheldon, Missouri to William and Twila (Green) Jones, she resided in the Fayetteville/Parkton area for 39 years.

She worked almost 30 years for Tippet, Padrick & Bryan CPA office in Fayetteville as a secretary. She and her husband Bob also ran the Parkton Auction & thrift shop for 13 years prior to his passing in 2005.

A dedicated volunteer for Balm in Gilead Family Counseling Ministry, Mrs. Talbott worked in support of their Food Closet that distributes food to people in need. She had a true servant's heart and a generosity and compassion for others driven by her faith.

She loved going back to Lamar for extended visits to spend time with relatives and lifelong friends.

Son Gary Shankles of Olathe, Kan., daughter Marcie Palmer of Parkton, grandchildren William, Richard, Kylie, Brent and Shane, great-grandchildren Dyllan, Devynne, Darryn, Nicholas, Roman and Alana, sister Billie Reno of Lamar, Mo., half sisters Sharon Smith of Edwards and Karen Richards of Iola, Kan. and her extended family and friends will miss her dearly, but rejoice in the reward that she has receive from her Heavenly Father.
