It was a beautiful day for Picnic in the Park

Lamar Democrat/Melody Metzger The rain blew in Thursday morning, July 28, but departed in time, making for a beautiful day to hold Lamar City Park’s Picnic in the Park. Several food trucks were on hand for both lunch and supper, with many taking advantage of the opportunity. As a reminder, there will be no Picnic in the Park in August, due to the timing of the Lamar Free Fair. Be sure to watch for their return on Thursday, Sept. 22.
