Senior center in Lamar has large turnout for fried chicken day

Photos courtesy of Willis Strong The Red Hat ladies observed the club’s 19th anniversary on Thursday, Aug. 18, at the Barton County Senior Center in Lamar. The ladies were decked out in all their purple and red finery and as usual seemed to be having a great time while visiting with each other and those enjoying the great chicken dinner that was served in observance of birthdays and anniversaries. Patsy Yount from Liberal requested that her picture be put in the paper, and we aim to please.
