Lamar Democrat/Melody Metzger An open forum style meeting was held Thursday evening, Aug. 18, at the Thiebaud Auditorium meeting room in Lamar, for those wishing to obtain more information as to the possibility of Lamar becoming an affiliate underneath the Carthage Fair Acres YMCA. Representing the YMCA were Patty Miller, CEO of the Missouri Alliance of YMCAs out of Jefferson City and Jonathan Roberts, CEO of the Fair Acres YMCA in Carthage.
