REV. ROBERT “BOB” TEXTOR

LAMAR- Services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at Konantz Warden Funeral Home for Rev. Robert “Bob” Textor, 79, Lamar, who died Monday, Sept. 19, 2022.

The family will receive visitors at the funeral home from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and prior to the service Monday morning, beginning at 10 a.m.

Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Ola Best Textor; three children, Teresa Textor, Lamar, Dennis Textor, Fair Grove and Clifton Textor, Houma, La.; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two daughters-in-law; two brothers; one sister and numerous nieces and nephews.

Rev. Textor was born May 20, 1942, in Jonesboro, Ark., the second of nine children to Marvin and Edna (Young) Textor.

He accomplished many things in his life. He held many degrees and certifications, but they were simply a means to provide for his family and church. If you asked him what his greatest achievement in life was, he would say it was being a husband and father.
