Thanks to generous donation, BCMP now has dog waste station

A new dog waste station has been installed at the Barton County Memorial Park. Bags are provided that will allow the owner to pick up the dog waste and put it in the trash can without having to touch it. A generous $1,000 donation from Eva Buchanan allowed the Memorial Park to purchase two of these stations with a third one going in sometime next year. The one pictured is on the south side of the park. The second one will soon be located on the north side. "We have seen a lot of people walking their dogs around the BCMP and unfortunately, a lot of them do not pick up after their dog. We hope they (and all others) will utilize these stations".
