A sendoff was held at Lamar High School on Thursday afternoon, Dec. 1, as the Lamar Tigers were slated to leave from the school on Friday morning, at 8:15 a.m., in order to compete at the Class 2 State Final against Blair Oaks, held at Faurot Field in Columbia, Mo. A lively rally was enjoyed by those attending, with many fun contests being held between students plus one with teachers as well. Coach Jared Beshore spoke to the team that was recognized by the band, cheerleaders, flags and the many students that packed the bleachers.
