HAROLD RAY HUTTON/LETA MARIE HUTTON

GOLDEN CITY- A memorial service will be held at 5 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 17, at the First Christian Church of Golden City, for Harold Ray Hutton, 96, Golden City, who died Saturday, Nov. 12, 2022 and his wife of 69 years, Leta Marie Hutton, 88, who died just a short two weeks later on Monday, Nov. 28, 2022.

The two both grew up and lived in the Golden City area their entire lives. Mr. Hutton was a mechanic and aligned cars for Wagner’s in Golden City for over 30 years. Mrs. Hutton was a cook for the Golden City schools for 39 years. They took pride in their home and yard. They loved going to the lake, spending time with grandkids and fixing up cars.

Mr. Hutton was preceded in death by his parents, John and Etta Pearl (O’Brien) Hutton; his brothers, John Leroy Hutton and wife Lela, Eugene Hutton and Harley Hutton and one sister, Sylvene Kleeman.

Mrs. Hutton was preceded in death by her parents, Dewey and Roberta (Gardner) Patterson; a sister, Lena Mae Fanning; a brother, Dewey Patterson; a sister-in-law, Paulette Patterson and a brother-in-law, Delbert Fanning.

Survivors include their son, Jimmy Hutton and wife Melanie, Springfield; their three grandchildren, Jeremy Hutton, Heather Miller and husband Marshall, Lamar and Brandon Hutton. They also have five great-grandchildren, Halle Miller, Marcy Miller, Kyle Letterman, Dakota Hutton and Trinity Hutton.

Also, Mrs. Hutton’s four brothers, Larry Patterson and wife Janice, Teddy Patterson, Jerry Patterson and wife Carol and Leon Patterson and wife Carol Ann and a sister-in-law, Joanne Patterson.
