Katie’s House welcomed with ribbon cutting

Lamar Democrat/Melody Metzger The Barton County Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon cutting at 12 noon on Tuesday, Dec. 20, welcoming Katie’s House Pregnancy & Family Resource Center. A large group gathered to view the beautifully renovated offices at 115 W. 12th St., in Lamar. Many enjoyed the delicious refreshments that were served, along with tours of the facility. Katie’s House offers pre-natal classes, parenting classes, free pregnancy tests, ultrasounds and more. They have another facility located at 1308 Hwy. 32, in El Dorado Springs.
