Rex Friend, son of Rile and Kim Friend, is the sixth grade Lamar Middle School Student of the Week. Rex enjoys playing with legos and going in the woods. He participates in football and archery. He has dogs named Dexter, Lucy and Champ. His favorite subject is Social Studies. Rex says he and his dad like to fix up old vehicles in their shop.

She plans on playing volleyball or basketball next year. Her favorite subjects are Social Studies and Reading, because both teachers make it a lot of fun while they teach.
