Peterson Outdoors Ministries recently recognized the completion of Phase 3 of the Lodge of Hope Capital Campaign at a celebratory dinner held Tuesday, Feb. 28. The mission began in 2008 with founder and director Tron Peterson acting on a vision that God had placed on his heart, to provide a large disabled accessible lodge where veterans and those with disabilities and their families could come and stay and be ministered to as a family. Lodge of Hope is a place where those with severe injuries or disabilities can go hunting and fishing and be able to participate in all kinds of outdoor recreational therapy, with the ultimate goal of finding hope, healing and restoration. Peterson Outdoors Ministries covers all travel expenses, food, lodging and permits for those who attend the events that are offered.
