Signs of spring are emerging

Lamar Democrat/Melody Metzger Seeing these beautiful yellow flowers spreading throughout the town is a definite sign that spring is on the way. Also as a first sign of spring, the trees on the west side of the Lamar square are beginning to bud. Hopefully the leaves on the bare trees will follow and the area will be able to experience at least a good spell of spring weather. I’m sure everyone is ready.
