LIBERAL- A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Liberal City Cemetery for Skie Lynn Richard “Rogers”, 15, who died Friday, March 31, 2023.
A visitation will be held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, at Konantz Warden Funeral Home in Lamar.
The family would appreciate donations in lieu of flowers to be made to cover final expenses. Donations can be made to the family, or directly to the funeral home.

Survivors include her parents; siblings, Autumn Warren-Rice, Aidyn Rogers, Lillieth Richard, Thomas Savage, Michael Rice, Aesun Rogers, Aine Rogers, Lliam West, Alma Richard and Alasdair Rogers; her grandfathers, Frank Richard and Doug Rogers; her grandmother, Katherine Koch; uncles, Chad and Lowell Rogers; aunt, Lorna Rogers and many cousins, nieces, nephews and other family and friends.
Ms. Richard was born March 24, 2008, in Ft. Scott, Kan., to Margaret Richard and Nigel Rogers. She lived in Liberal with her father, Nigel Rogers and her bonus mom, Cassie Rice.
She had a passion for art and music. She was smart and played the clarinet and the flute. She was an active participant in Liberal High School’s Scholars Bowl, Band and Choir. She was responsible, helpful and wonderful to be around. Her smile would light up the darkest rom.
