Lamar Democrat/Melody Metzger The sun was shining brightly for the Lamar Elks Lodge No. 2800 Annual Easter Egg Hunt that was held Saturday, April 8, at 12 noon, at the Lamar City Park. A large crowd was on hand with 4000 filled Easter eggs being hidden around the park, divided into sections for various age groups. After the hunt, free hot dogs and drinks were served, plus a chance to have one’s picture taken with the Easter Bunny. Be sure to watch of more photos in the April 19 edition of the paper.
