MARY ROSALIE MCFERRIN

LAMAR- Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Lamar United Methodist Church for Mary Rosalie McFerrin, 98, Lamar, who died Monday, April 10, 2023, at her home, surrounded by her loving family. A visitation will be held prior to the service, beginning at 10 a.m.

Arrangements are under the direction of Konantz Warden Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to CD Ministry, United Methodist Church, 900 Poplar St., Lamar, MO 64759.

Survivors include three daughters, Carolyn Johnson, Kingman, Kan., Sharon Luebbert and husband Sam, Jefferson City and Vickie Pabst and husband Earl, Jefferson City; seven grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren and 32 great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Maurice “Mac” McFerrin of 54 years; five brothers, Orville T Davidson, Ralph Davidson, Jess Davidson, Newell Davidson, John Davidson; one sister, Goldena Helvey and numerous nieces and nephews.

Mrs. McFerrin was born Sept. 5, 1924, at her family home in South Greenfield. She married Maurice “Mac” McFerrin on June 30, 1942. She was a mother to three girls, a homemaker and worked part time at Radar’s Department Store until the girls were older. She then worked for O’Sullivan Industries for 20 years until her retirement.
