HERBERT GARRETT JR.

MCCUNE, Kan.- A private service will be held for Herbert Garrett Jr., 59, McCune, who died Sunday, April 9, 2023.

Arrangements are under the direction of Daniel Funeral Home, Lamar, Mo.

Survivors include his daughter, Kayla Garrett (and Brandon Lemmons); three grandchildren, Haylee, Harmoni and Heavinli, all of McCune; his mother, Reta Garrett, Wichita; three brothers, Curtis Garrett and wife Lisa, Vinita, Okla., Patrick Garrett and wife Julie, Stockton, Mo. and Gail Garrett, Wichita.

He was preceded in death by his father, Herbert Edgar Garrett.

Mr. Garrett was born Feb. 5, 1964, in Kiowa, to Herbert Edgar Garrett and Reta Colleen (Murphy) Garrett.

He worked as a tire technician for Pomp's Tire and Service. He was a member of the National Rifle Association (NRA) and Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation (RMEF).
