NEVADA, Mo.- A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, July 22, at Marmaduke Park in Nevada, for Richard Eugene Mosley, 83, formerly of Lamar, who died Tuesday, May 9, 2023, at his home in Nevada, Mo.

Survivors include his wife, Connie; seven children, Jimmie Mosley and wife Sherrie, Bakersville, NC., Tom Morgan and wife Renee, Kingsland, Texas, Donnie Mosley and wife Brenda, Pleasant Hill, Rhonda Mosley, Exerter and Tina Mosley, Serena Mosley and Bob Mosley and wife Maryette, Lewistown, Montana; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by a son; two brothers and two sisters.

Mr. Mosley was born Dec. 10, 1939, in Omega, Kan., to George W. and Delka O. (Bills) Mosley. He married Connie Hare on Nov. 23, 1994.

He spent most of his childhood in Dayton and Garden City. Throughout his life he worked several places including O’Sullivan Industries in Lamar for 17 years, General Motors in Kansas City for 14 years, he lived in Montana and worked at the State Hospital for five years, he moved to Texas and worked at Horseshoe Bay Resort for five years and the LBJ State Park for an additional five years until his retirement. He moved to Nevada in 2022.
