CAROLIN “KAY” WINNINGHAM

LAMAR- A graveside service was held at 10 a.m. Monday at Memory Gardens Cemetery for Carolin “Kay” Winningham, 77, Lamar, who died Wednesday, May 31, 2023, at Truman Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center in Lamar.

Arrangements were under the direction of Daniel Funeral Home.

Contributions are suggested and made payable to Breast Cancer Foundation, in care of the funeral home.

Survivors include her brother, Jack Winningham and his wife Barbara, Lamar; a sister, Maxine Bruffey, Joplin and extended family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Jimmie Winningham and Ricky Winningham and two nephews, Skylar Winningham and Jeremy Winningham.

Mrs. Winningham was born October 17, 1945, in Lamar, to James Edward Winningham and Helen Marie Dorsel (Davis) Winningham.

She worked at O'Sullivan Industries, first in the paint department and then retiring from the customer service department. She was president of Ladies Aglow. She loved horses and flowers. She loved children and her family. She was a member of the Lamar Assembly of God Church and loved the Lord Jesus.
