Women’s business center opens in Lamar

Lamar Democrat/Melody Metzger The New Growth Women’s Business Center was welcomed to the community with a ribbon cutting held at 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, June 20, at the Barton County Chamber of Commerce office, located on the north side of the Lamar square. The center is available to assist rural businesses in all stages of development. They are funded in part by the U.S. Small Business Administration.
