Park celebration deemed great success

Activities were planned throughout the day on Saturday, June 17, as friends and family joined together to enjoy the 100th anniversary celebration of the Lamar City Park. Bounce houses, train rides, food trucks, various games and free shaved ices were just some of the highlights of the day, while The Mixtapes, a super fun 90’s cover band performed that evening. Also offered during the evening was a beverage garden set up by The Belt and concessions being sold by the Lamar Lions Club.
