MONETT- Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at Daniel Funeral Home in Lamar for Douglas “Doug” Dean Robertson, 64, Monett, who died Thursday, June 22, at Mercy Hospital in Joplin. Burial will follow in Memory Gardens Cemetery in Lamar.

The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday, at the funeral home.

Contributions are suggested and made payable to the Barton County Shriner's Club or St. Jude's Children Hospital, in care of the funeral home.

Survivors include his wife of 36 years, Stevi; two sons, Brian Norwood and wife Jill, Santa Rosa Beach, Fla. and Dylon Robertson, Springfield; one daughter, Sami Jo Peine and husband Kyle, Garnett, Kan.; his mother, Barbara Robertson, Lamar; six grandchildren, Lauren Norwood, Peyton Norwood, Hudson Norwood, Charlotte Norwood, Kole Peine and Kase Peine and one brother, David Robertson and wife Diane, Crocker.

He was preceded in death by his father, Darrell Robertson and mother-in-law, Blanch Stevens.

Mr. Robertson was born Dec. 18,1958, to Darrell Dean Robertson and Barbara Levatious (Williams) Robertson. He married Stevi Alice Stevens on Jan. 23, 1988, in Lamar.

He worked for his parents at the Robertson Dairy Farm then took over the farm in 1980 and began farming row crops. He sold the farm in 1997. He then owned many businesses throughout the community including Robertson Auto Sales. He held other jobs until he found a passion for selling farm equipment with Fritz Implement, who sold to Crown Power and Equipment of Monett.

He was a member of the Barton County Shriner Club, Masonic Lodge No. 292 and the Metro Club of Lamar.
