HOLLY SUE JAY

RURAL DADE COUNTY- A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at Konantz Warden Funeral Home in Lamar for Holly Sue Jay, 49, rural Dade County, who died Tuesday, June 27, 2023.
The family would appreciate memorial contributions be made in care of the funeral home to assist with final expenses.

Survivors include her husband, Frankie Jay; children Amber Jay and Alex Diem, Lamar, Jessy Jay, Branson and Scott Jay, Texas; her grandchildren, Serenity, Jaxon, Jase, Daniel, Wyatt and Gracie; her father-in-law, Donald Jay, rural Dade County and a Ilifelong friend, Maura Small Lewandowski.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Cheryl Robbins.
Mrs. Jay was born Dec. 7, 1973, in Harvey, Ill., to Linda (Atherton) and Larry Robbins. She attended Remeoville High School. She married Frankie Jay on June 17, 1994, in Forsyth. They lived in Spokane for a couple of years before moving to Rockaway Beach, where they remained until they moved to the family farm in rural Dade County in 2018.
Mrs. Jay loved to sing and dance. She was a good cook and would always be found cooking for any holiday. She was a great wife and mother who dedicated her life to loving and caring for her family. She loved fishing and going out on the water in her kayak. Casey Hole held a special place in her heart because of all of the wonderful family memories they made there during family trips, summers and holidays spent there with her family, extended family and friends. She surrounded herself with her family and her door was always open to any of them.
