LYNN EARL NEHER

JASPER- A family graveside service will be held Saturday for Lynn Earl Neher, 74, Jasper, who died Monday, July 10, 2023, at Mercy McCune-Brooks Hospital.

Arrangements are under the direction of Weng Funeral Chapel.

Survivors include his wife, Megan Neher; seven sons, Raleigh Neher and wife Chelcia, Adam Neher and wife Meagan, James Neher, Jason Neher and wife Aimee, Kevin Neher and wife Amy Jo, Jeremy Neher and wife Vanessa and Lynn N. Neher and wife Sandy; two daughters, Rebecca Graham and husband Larry and Emilee Neher; two brothers, Tony Neher and wife Janet and Donald Neher and wife Jean; 18 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and his dog, Olive.

He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers, Terry Neher, Danny Neher and Ronald Neher.

Mr. Neher was born Dec. 2, 1948, in Barton County, to Raymond and Rosalee (Harvey) Neher. He was a mechanic doing small engine repair and had worked for Jasper schools for 18 years in maintenance. He was a 1966 graduate of Jasper High School and an Air Force veteran. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Jasper.

He married Megan Reed on Jan. 23, 1990.
