Lodge of Hope provides setting for First Responders appreciation event

Lamar Democrat/Melody Metzger Peterson Outdoors Ministries & 360 Auto Service held its 6th Annual Appreciation Event for First Responders on Saturday, July 22, at Lodge of Hope. The day started at 10 a.m., with events that included archery, axe throwing, boating, fishing, kayaking, clay pigeon shooting, a Mobile Milo Laser Range shooting simulator offered by Mike and Jackie Deans of Ozark Shoot-Don’t Shoot Solutions LLC, boat tours, side by side tours, music, kids activities, a petting zoo and horseback riding and a delicious meal cooked and served by the ever faithful Mighty MO Chuckwagon crew. Welcomed were law enforcement from California, along with other First Responders from across the state.
