Lamar Democrat/Melody Metzger Want to get out of cooking in a hot kitchen? Come visit the Picnic in the Park on Thursday, July 27, 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., at the Lamar City Park. Due to the Lamar Free Fair being held the week that is usually the week for Picnic in the Park, the next opportunity to enjoy the offerings from the various food trucks will be Thursday, Sept. 28.
