LIBERAL-Services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at Konantz Warden Funeral for Ruth Marie Browning, 79, Liberal, who died Wednesday, Jan. 27, 2016, at Mercy Hospital in Fort Scott, Kan., following a short illness. Burial will be in Liberal City Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday, at the funeral home chapel.

Mrs. Browning was born June 6, 1936. She had worked at Pitt Plastics in Pittsburg, Kan., until she retired.
