Photos by Willis Strong A retirement reception was held for Judy I. Fast, who will be retiring as Barton County Commission secretary, a position that she has held for the past 22 years. The come and go reception was held Monday, Aug. 14, 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., in the county clerk’s office at the Barton County Courthouse. District 127 Missouri State Representative Ann Kelley was on hand to present Fast with a proclamation and she also received a beautiful plaque commemorating her service to the commission. Fast is pictured with, left to right, District One Commissioner Ben Reed, Presiding Commissioner David Johnson and District Two Commissioners Jeff Tucker.
