Lamar Democrat/Nadine Pattison The PBR Challenger Series made one of its official event stops at the Freeman Outdoor Event Center at the Stompin’ Grounds in Lamar on Friday and Saturday evenings, Aug. 18 and 19. The show featured some of the biggest names in the sport, alongside rising superstar bull riding athletes from not only various places in the United States, but also from Brazil and Australia. Participating cowboys vied for the opportunity to compete at the PBR World Finals in Las Vegas, Nevada.
