Benefit held for Overman family

Lamar Democrat/Melody Metzger An outpouring of support was shown to the Taylor Overman family as a large part of the community came out to the 10th Street Community Farmers’ Market on Saturday morning, Aug. 19, underneath Moore Pavilion. The family had lost their home in a fire and a breakfast, complete with eggs, sausage and pancakes, was served, with 100 percent of the donations being given to the family.
