Sophomore quarterback No. 16 Trent Torbeck hands the ball to No. 12 junior Carson Sturgell for good yardage in the Tigers 40-7 victory over Big 8 West opponent Monett Cubs. Filling in for injured Alex Wilkerson, Torbeck did a good job in his first varsity start, running for about 130 yards. The Tigers will host Seneca Friday evening in a game that could decide the Big 8 West championship. The Tigers are rated No. 1 in Class 2, while the Indians are rated No. 3 in Class 3. Both teams are 3-0, with Seneca holding their three opponents scoreless. Come out to Thomas M. O'Sullivan Stadium and cheer the Tigers on to victory.
