LOCKWOOD- Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, at Greenfield Funeral Chapel for Teddy Ray Patterson, 84, Lockwood, who died Monday, Oct. 2, 2023. Burial will follow in Pippenger Cemetery.

A visitation will be held at the funeral chapel prior to the service time, beginning at 11 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Pippenger Cemetery.

Survivors include two sons, Todd Patterson and wife Becky, Lockwood and Trent Patterson and wife Deanna, Afton, Okla.; three brothers, Larry Patterson and wife Janice, Lockwood, Jerry Patterson and wife Carol, Golden City and Leon Patterson and wife Carol Ann, Golden City; six grandchildren, Brandi Brabo and husband Stephen, Dakota Patterson, Destiney Grubbs and husband Brandon, Tristen Patterson and fiancé Tim Cummins, Ethan Patterson and Owen Patterson; five great-grandchildren, Connor Brabo, Jade Brabo, Emma Brabo, Tinsley Patterson and Hadley Grubbs and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Paulette Patterson; one son, Troy Patterson; one daughter, Tracie Germann; one brother, Dewey Patterson, Jr. and two sisters, Leta Hutton and Lena Mae Fanning.

Mr. Patterson was born March 31, 1939, in Lamar, to Dewey and Roberta (Gardner) Patterson. He was a Lockwood High School graduate. He was united in marriage to Paulette Sue Thoreson on Aug. 13, 1962, in Tulsa, Okla. He worked as a boilermaker for Chicago Bridge and Iron, constructing water towers. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed his fishing trips to Minnesota.

He loved his family and spending time with his kids and grandkids. He especially liked playing cards with them.
