Hendrickson runs fastest 10K time ever by 80 year old woman

Jeanne Hendrickson, who grew up in Golden City and is the oldest of the eight Nichols children, ran the fastest 10K time ever by an 80 year old woman in Missouri at this year’s Plaza 10K, with a time of 1:14:06. Hendrickson is a 1961 Golden City High School graduate. She has run numerous full marathons over the past 30 years. She and her husband Phil live near the Plaza in Kansas City, Mo.
