Although the day started out a little chilly on Saturday, Oct. 7, the sun quickly appeared and warmed things up as many enjoyed the various offerings of the Wyatt Earp Fallfest that was held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., on the northeast corner of the Lamar square, in the newly completed Wyatt Earp Park. There were 40 vendors set up around the park, offering those attending a wide variety of goods. Also making for a fun time were the 12 re-enactors from the time period of Wyatt Earp that performed throughout the day, along with music that was provided by Corey Timmons. Also held during the day was the Wild West Baby Show and the Wild West Dog Show. The day was deemed a complete success.
