RONNIE LEE MOORE
TAMA, Iowa- A memorial service was held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 30, at Kruse-Phillips Funeral Home for Ronnie Lee Moore, 67, Tama, a former Golden City resident, who died Saturday, Sept. 23, 2023, at the University of Iowa Hospitals & Clinics in Iowa City. Pastor Warren Riley officiated. Interment will be held at a later date at the Oak Hill Cemetery in Belle Plaine.
Survivors include his children, Michael Roth and wife Merjen, Tama and Heather Tuttle and husband Jacob, Vinton; nine grandchildren, Rachel, Hannah, Nolan, Raymond, Hope, Jaice, Xandria, Sade and Caleb; two great-grandchildren, Jackson and Denver; his longtime girlfriend, Kelly McAllister, Tama and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Catherine and a son, Damien Moore.
Mr. Moore was born July 12, 1956, in Golden City, Mo., to Catherine Moore. He was a graduate of Golden City High School. He served his country in the U.S. Army. He married Anita Roth and together they had three children. They later divorced.
Mr. Moore had a roofing and construction company called Roofing and Moore. He enjoyed going to the races, gardening and raising and selling watermelons and other fresh produce. His greatest joy was spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
